Dr Amit Deveshvar

Dr Amit Deveshvar graduated as a dentist in India in 1997. Later, Amit went to study advanced dental skills at Otago University in New Zealand. Having worked in 3 countries – India, New Zealand and Australia, Amit has incorporated the best that each country had to offer and strived to be an empathetic dentist with exceptional clinical skills. With over 25 years experience in dentistry, Amit very quickly found his niche in dental surgeries with a special interest in extracting complex wisdom teeth. This love for surgeries grew and Amit started to place implants in 2015. This partnership with implants grew when Amit met his mentor Dr John Echavarria (Specialist Implantologist and Prosthodontist). John took Amit under his wings and taught him more complex surgeries including All on X procedures and extensive sinus lift surgeries.

Amit also learned advanced bone grafting and other extensive surgical procedures during a 2 year fully hands on Implant fellowship training which he completed in 2023. Amit also learned soft tissue augmentation and gum graft surgeries and has been practicing these techniques successfully to create natural gum contours to host implant crowns in the highly cosmetic anterior area. Amit very firmly believes that a beautiful implant crown will look ugly if the gums around it do not follow the natural, esthetic pattern. The mutual love for Implants in Amit and John gave birth to IMPLANT ART. This is the place where the two plan meticulously and perform brilliant surgeries to help patients regain their confidence and enjoy life with fixed implant prosthesis. An avid traveler, keen foodie and a photographer in his (not so) spare time keeps him occupied and keeps his creative juices flowing.
